I’m Christopher McGuinness, a Creative Producer and Writer-Director with a background in editing and cinematography, all of which helped shape my story-first approach to filmmaking and visual communication.

For over 23 years, I led PulseCinema, developing documentary, commercial, nonprofit, and narrative projects from concept through delivery. Throughout that time, I told stories designed to connect with audiences and communicate clear messaging.

My work has received industry recognition including Telly Awards, screenplay honors, and festival screenings. My documentary THE UNDEPARTED has reached more than 2.3M organic YouTube views with a 96% audience “like” rating, while THE QUIET FIRE screenplay was recognized as a Top 10 Finalist in the Final Draft Big Break Contest from more than 12,000 entries. It also reached #6 on the Coverfly Red List for Sci-Fi Features.

I’m drawn to genuine storytelling and believe creative choices should serve the story, not ego. Whether collaborating on documentary interviews, commercial projects, or narrative work, I value curiosity, listening, and finding the human connection at the center of a story.

Being a good person comes first, and teaming up with other good people to leave our collective fingerprints on the work makes for a great experience. After that, the goal is simple: tell stories that are honest, visually engaging, and emotionally alive.
